1.7.18 Friday Favorites - Happy New Year

Happy New Year sweet friends!

It has been way too long since I've posted.  Life and the craziness that was holiday craft markets happened at the end of the year, and while it was marvelous, it was also exhausting and left little time to compile these blogs that I love!   However, I had such an awesome time meeting everyone that came out to the markets and I can't wait to do them all again this year!

Since it is a New Year, I'm starting off with a whole new list and look for my Friday Favorites.

As always, it's a list the things, products, people, or places that caught my eye and made me swoon throughout the week.

1. Psalm 91 Studio

From the moment that Cheryl (owner of Psalm 91 Studio) and I met, I knew we were going to be friends!  She has the kindest heart and loves to use her gift of jewelry making as a way to bring women to the Lord.  This girl makes beautiful jewelry, that is fashionable and functional.  She even carries a line of jewelry that works perfectly with essential oils, which I think is the coolest thing! The image below shows some of her essential oil jewelry.  I have this necklace and use it often with essential oils for anxiety.  I love it!  Check her out on Instagram @psalm91studio

2. Bishop & Branch Body Cream

I had the opportunity to meet this sweet girl at two of the holiday markets that I was in last year.  Lydia, owner of Bishop & Branch Body Cream, makes the most amazing body creams, soaps, and candles.  Her "Holiday Spirit" candle burned all throughout the holidays at my house, and still has some wax left!  Plus, it is my new favorite scent! The body butter is perfect for super dry skin and a little bit goes a long way.  I love it!

3. Color Street by Michelle Jones

I had never used any type of nail color strips before, until Michelle Jones sent me a sample of Color Street nail strips.  They're amazing and so easy to apply!  Michelle Jones always posts the most gorgeous nail inspo pictures (all Color Street of course) on her Instagram.  Plus, she's a South Carolina girl!  How gorgeous are these black and gold abstract nails?!

4.  House Fenway

I've been following House Fenway on Instagram for a while now and I always love her decor inspo and cozy pictures!  Throughout the holidays, it was gorgeous buffalo plaid images, and cozy flatlays with greenery.  During the fall months, it was dreamy pumpkin shots,  coffee, and plaid.  I can't wait to see what she has in store for us throughout the New Year!

5. The Adorned Fox

Tabathia, owner of The Adorned Fox, and I have been friends for over a year now.  She's so sweet and I've seen her business and her, grow so much throughout this past year.  What she's doing with her talent is such an inspiration.  Many of her videos have been viewed and shared over thousands of times.  Her wood burning and hand lettering is gorgeous.  Plus, what she's doing now with paint will blow your mind!  Check out this adorable mason jar snow scene!

6. Ashley Brooke Designs

Every Sunday, I look to see which Bible verse Ashley Brooke has posted on Instagram.  I feel like too often in our society, people are hesitant to share their faith.  So, when someone does, and isn't afraid to share it, I appreciate it so much!  Other than Ashley Brooke sharing gorgeous images like the one below, and always having a perfect manicure, she also posts the most dreamy fashion, make up, and home inspiration.  Just looking through her pictures, you can't help but want to be friends with her!

New Patriotic Napkin Rings!

I'm so in love with these adorable burlap red, white and blue napkin rings!

You may remember the burlap bunny rabbit napkin rings from Spring.  Before Easter, I sold over 230 of those precious little bunny ears!   Since those did so well, I knew that we needed to create something similar with burlap, but for Summer.  My mom came up with this design and I absolutely love it!  Last week, she finished an order of 70 of them, for a wedding in Washington.  I'm so thankful for her!

Please check out my Etsy shop for these burlap, red, white, and blue napkin rings and many other Painter Designs items!

4.21.17 Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!

After all of the Easter craziness, I decided that I definitely needed to post again this week for my Friday Favorites.  The past several weeks have been chaotic with making an abundance of burlap bunny rabbit napkin rings for all of the Etsy orders that came through.  I've also had several photo sessions this week that I was super excited about!  I'm so thankful for the best clients ever!

Here's this week's list of the things that caught my eye and made me swoon!

1. Kirklands Kitchen Canisters

This week, I went to our brand new Kirklands in Greenville.  I immediately fell in love with all of the new Spring and Summer decor!  Being the Southern girl that I am, I also fell in love with these precious mason jar looking canisters!  They have a rubber seal around the top too, to make sure your contents stay fresh.  I also love this color!

2. Decor from The Adorned Fox

I am SO proud of my sweet friend Tabathia with The Adorned Fox.  She is taking her business to new heights, with all of her awesome new items and with the opportunity of being at the Pinners Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this weekend.   She is such an inspiration!  I absolutely love this sign that she created this week!

3.  Desk Inspo from Cotton Stem

This desk space is what cozy office dreams are made of!  I can't get over how fresh and adorable this desk is that Erin from Cotten Stem shared on Instagram this week.  I need this desk! I need those succulents!  I also need to be this organized!  haha!

4.  Pineapple Wine Tumbler from Moonstruck

This week I had lunch with one of my best friends, and she brought me the cutest pineapple wine tumbler and beach towel for my birthday!  Both came from Moonstruck, a local store in Mauldin, South Carolina.  Adorable!

5.  Tory Burch Castaway Canvas Espadrilles

As we know, I have an obsession with pineapples!  So, when I saw these on the Neiman Marcus website this week...  Ah!  These would be perfect for a weekend getaway to the coast, or even brunch with your girlfriends.  Pair them with a little black dress or cut off jean shorts!  Anything would be cute!

 6. Off the Shoulder Top at Target

I am loving the off the shoulder top trend!  Everywhere you look, there are super cute off the shoulder styles.  I love the eyelet and scalloped details of this white top from Target.  Best part, it's only $29.99!

DIY Flocked Wreath

I am totally loving the look of all of these flocked Christmas trees and wreaths this year!  So, I decided to create flocked wreath for my front door.

I went to Hobby Lobby to buy the supplies that I needed for the wreath, including the flock spray.  I already had the plaid ribbon that I used for the bow, seen in my mirror post here.

This is the greenery wreath that I used.  I got it at Hobby Lobby, for only $5!

Here is the snow/flock spray that I used.  It was only $2.50 after the 50% off all of the Christmas items at Hobby Lobby.

I took the wreath outside to spray it and held the sprayer closer and farther away as I moved across the entire wreath.  I didn't want the wreath to be completely white.  I just wanted it to look like it had a dusting of snow on it.

Here's what it looked like after I finished spraying it.

When I finished spraying the wreath, I let it dry for about 40 minutes.  It will still come off all over everything, so be careful!

Then, I decided to make another bow, like the one I created for my dining room.

Check out this blog post for the video that I used to make the bow.

Here's how the wreath looked before I hung it on my front door.

Here's the finished product.  I love how it turned out!  I can't wait to start flocking other Christmas projects now!

11.18.16 Friday Favorites

Happy Friday Yall!  This week has gone by super fast!  I've been so thankful that my husband has been off work the majority of it.  I love those weeks when you feel like all of your crazy lists of "to do's" actually get done!

Here's a list of the the things that caught my eye and made me swoon this week!  Enjoy!  Have an awesome weekend and hopefully you can get caught up on some of your to-dos before Thanksgiving!
AH!  Thanksgiving is next week!!?!

1.  Southern Living Store at the Market Common in Myrtle Beach

When I saw this week that they are opening a Southern Living Store in Myrtle Beach, I will admit, I texted my husband and told him that we needed to make a trip to the beach ASAP!  I'm so excited to visit this shop!  Hopefully in the near future!

2.  Hobby Lobby Christmas

You know that I'm loving anything red and black plaid this holiday season.  So, when Hobby Lobby shared this on Facebook this week, I totally wanted to rush to the store and pick up all of these things to make my house look like this! And that truck pillow... Adorable!

3.  Gap Pajamas

I've always loved a pair of cozy pajamas!  There's just something so classic about these plaid pjs that Gap shared this week, of Emily Jenny (Stilettobeatss) on Instagram.  They would be perfect for Christmas morning!

4.  Sleds

Since I've been in full swing of decorating for Christmas lately, I've been shopping for new decor items and looking through stores and Instagram for inspiration.  I'm really loving how antique sleds are being used for decor.  Last weekend, my family and I visited a few antique stores in Landrum, South Carolina and I was totally inspired!  I went home and found my mom's old sled in their storage building and brought it home to decorate.  Hey... that beats spending over $100 on one, that I don't have a story to go along with it!  I remember using this sled to go down our driveway when I was a kid.  Plus, I love how it looks in the corner of our dining room.

5.  Disney Inspired Shirts on Jane.com

I've definitely spent more time and effort on looking for household items and decor lately, rather than clothes.  However, when I saw these Disney inspired shirts on jane.com last week, by Lindsey Love Designs, I had to order one!  I couldn't decide which one to order and I was almost tempted to order several...  But, I ordered a charcoal black shirt with gold writing "A dream is a wish your heart makes."  I'm so excited for it to get here!

6.  Red Tassel Earrings

I know that I'm a smidge biased on this next item, but I love these red tassel earrings!  They would be perfect with a little black dress for all of your Christmas parties this season!  Check out my etsy shop to order a pair for only $10.00!

Good Friday Morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful week and is super excited about the weekend! Last weekend we visited Fall for Greenville and this weekend its Sippin Simpsononville.  Tis the season for town festivals!  :)

Here's a list of the the things that caught my eye and made me swoon throughout this past week!

1.  Moon and Lola State Jewelry

I love anything state pride related!  So, when I saw this post on Moon and Lola's Instagram this week, I was like "Ohhhhh!!"  I would love to see some South Carolina pieces!!

2.  Cobblestone Homes

I love a good neutral toned living room!  When I saw this on Cobblestone Homes' Instagram this week, I fell in love with the neutral colors and the rustic beams on the ceiling!  And the chandelier!  So cozy!  Awesome job Cobblestone Homes!

3.  Coastal Kelder Greenville Pillow

Like I said about my obsession with state things, I'm the same way with hometown stuff!  Check out this Greenville pillow by the talented Coastal Kelder!  It is absolutely adorable and full of good ol' Greenville pride!

4.  Plaid Skirt on Hiliary Rose's Instagram

I'm a sucker for a good plaid anything during fall and winter.  How gorgeous is this long flowy skirt?! Hilary Rose always has the best style and I think she could literally pull any trend off!

5. Trust Your Journey

I saw these bracelets on Mast General's Instagram this week and was curious to find out more information.  Trust Your Journey was created by a cancer survivor and a young widowed mother.  Together they created "Trust Your Journey" to inspire others who are going through a difficult time.  I love this message!  These pink bracelets would be great gifts for someone you know in October for Breast Cancer Awareness month!

6. Lianahee Drawing

I'm obsessed with Lianahee's adorable drawings!  Every time she posts one, I think "Oh! This one is my favorite!"  How stinkin cute is this one in a plaid cape though!?  LOVE!!

Our Guest Room Decor

I LOVE how our guest bedroom is coming together.  I used most of the pieces from my old room that I grew up in,  but I've added some new things to give it a little different look.   My grandmother recently passed away and we have been cleaning out her house.   I found this bed tray of hers and decided to use it to decorate.  I love how finished it makes the bed look when its not in use.  But, it could also come in handy for times when you want to read in bed, or if my husband decides to fix me breakfast in bed one morning... hint hint.  ;)

You know I love anything beachy!  So, I decided to showcase one of my favorite books growing up on the tray.  Its also a perk that the book cover matches the room.

I also acquired her old rocking glider that was in her living room.  One day, Lord willing, if we turn this room into a nursery, the glider will come in very handy!  I also look forward to the days of telling my children stories about her, while we are enjoying a piece of her furniture.

The material that covered the glider, didn't necessarily match the room.  So, my next project will be to recover the cushions myself.  I'll keep you posted with that progress!
