Update on Etsy Shop

Well, I've had my Etsy shop up and running for a few weeks now and I finally made my first sale.  Wooho!!!  I was super excited when the email came through, "Congrats on your first sale!"

Even though I'm totally pumped and want to add a ton of other creations on there, I can't help but worry, what if nothing else sells?  Do you ever have this same feeling too?  Where are all of my anxiety Etsy sellers?  ;)

I'm excited to see what the future holds for my Etsy shop and for selling my art and jewelry at other locations as well.

Check out my Etsy shop for more Painter Designs additions!

Friday Favorites 8.5.16

1.  Laura Browning Art

I came across this artist on Instagram and was immediately intrigued by her paintings of water!  You know I love all things beachy and these gorgeous paintings just make me smile!  :)

2.  Lug - Puddle Jumper

Ok, I'm not gonna lie... These Puddle Jumper bags by Lug have been one of my favorite things for about 10 years now.  I will not go on a vacation without mine!  They were once featured as one of Oprah's Favorite Things years ago, and I purchased one then, before a trip to Miami.  This bag, by Lug, is an absolute life changer and this week they were on sale on QVC!   I seriously contemplated on ordering another one for myself.  However, even after 10 years of wear and tear, and taking it on every trip and plane that I've been on in the past 10 years, it is still holding strong!  It's definitely worth every penny.  I would recommend Lug to anyone who ever goes on any time of trip!  Love!!!

3.  Kate Spade - 5 o'clock Metro Watch

I was at the mall this week and walked past the watches.  Now, I'm not in the market for a new watch, I was simply passing through on the way to the shoes (I'm almost always on the market for shoes... I like shoes ok!?)   However, I took a double date at this cutie!  There is a fruity drink where the 5:00 should be.  How cute is that!?  I immediately started singing, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" in my head.

4.  Savannah From Savannah by Denise Hildreth

Since we are all holding onto the last little bit of Summer that is left, I recommend getting one more good Summer read in!  Savannah From Savannah is one of my all time faves!  And, it's about a southern girl who loves Coca Cola.  (A girl after my own heart!)

5.  Gorgeous home in Veranda Magazine

I came across this dining room image on Veranda Magazine's Facebook page this week and fell in love with the soft colors mixed with the strong statement pieces throughout the room.  The rest of the house in Alabama is just as gorgeous as the dining room.  Cream colors, rustic wood, and hydrangeas are throughout the entire house.  When can I move in?

 6.  Brush Stroke Art - Trending

I've been loving the brush stroke paintings that I've been selling lately and was super excited to see this cute notepad at Marshalls HomeGoods today!

Here's one of my brush stroke paintings at a local salon in Greenville.  Click on the image to check out my Etsy Shop.

Friday Favorites 7.29.16

Hello!  I've been wanting to try something new to post once a week.   After some brainstorming, I've decided that I will share a few of the things that have caught my eye and made me swoon over the past week. Just queue the Julie Andrews - "These are a few of my favorite things...!"

Side note - This post was accidently deleted on August 4th.  After 30 minutes of ugly crying and Google searching to try to find the cached version, it is no where to be found.  Therefore, I've created this post and the links for the products will be with each picture.

New Photos at He & Me Hair Designs in Greenville, SC

I was so excited to be able to take more photos at He & Me Hair Designs in Greenville, SC this week! They have so many exciting new things happening and new services being offered there.   It's also pretty awesome that my art is hanging there right now for my gallery showing.  ;)

Here are some of the photos from the session yesterday.

Gallery Showing at He & Me Hair Designs

I was beyond excited when the owner of He & Me Hair Designs asked me to be featured as the artist for the next 2 months in the salon!

I grew up going with my mom to get her hair done (and getting mine done too) at He & Me Hair Designs when it was located on on Washington Street in downtown Greenville, across from Barley's and Wild Wing Cafe.  Now, that building has been torn down, new buildings have been built, and He & Me has relocated off of Stone Avenue.  One of the owners has passed away and the other has retired, and now their daughter has started managing the salon.  New and exciting things are happening for the salon and its' owner!  I've always believed that family is one of the most important things that anyone can have in their life and I'm so happy that the legacy that they created is still evolving!

Starting July 2016, some of my paintings, art, and photography prints will be featured throughout the salon.  It is so exciting to see pieces that you've worked hard creating and have had a vision for hanging throughout a building!

The salon will be hosting an open house one night in the next couple of months.  So, I will announce that date as soon as we have decided on one.  In the mean time, check out some of the images below, or stop by and check them out for yourselves!  All of the items that are in the show are for sale and some are on Etsy.
