4.28.17 Friday Favorites

I've been totally inspired by the beach this week!  I think I'm in desperate need of a vacation, to feel the sand between my toes!  That inspiration, is where I'm channeling this week's Friday Favorites.

Think Palm Beach.  Palm Trees. Bright colors. Warm sun.  Cocktails.  Pool Party. ;)

Here's this week's Friday Favorites list, the things that caught my eye and made me swoon.

1.  Lyford Cay Villa Pool from Veranda Magazine

This week, Veranda Magazine shared this gorgeous 1960s home in the Bahamas on their Facebook page.  How beautiful is this pool and backyard?  Not only could the homeowners swim in crystal blue Caribbean water, they can relax in this dreamy backyard sanctuary.  I can just envision perfect poolside cocktail parties with pineapple swizzle sticks, long flowy dresses, and gold flip flops.

2. Wheaton Whaley Designs Towels

Fellow Greenvillian, Elizabeth Wheaton, owner of Wheaton Whaley Designs, posted these tropical towels this week on Instagram.  I am so in love with this pattern and the pop of bright pink!

3. Sugar Magnolia Cake Boutique Confetti Cake

Sugar Magnolia Cake Boutique always shares gorgeous cakes!  This one really caught my eye!  I haven't always been a fan of the new "naked" cake trend, but I absolutely love it on this funfetti inspired cake! The pops of color make this tiered cake simply perfect!

4.  Milly Black Peplum Gown

When I saw this Milly banded-shoulder peplum gown this week in my Neiman Marcus email, I fell in love.  There's nothing more classic than a simple black dress, but this one has a touch of trendy.  It's the perfect mix of classy and fun.  Pair it with some simple gold flip flops, bright earrings, and it's the perfect dress for a Summer cocktail party.

5. Jack Rogers Pineapple Flip Flops

As a Southern girl, I love my Jack Rogers!  These gold pineapple Jack Rogers are perfect for Summer and any outfit!

6.  Painter Designs Turquoise and Pink Tassel Necklace

Nothing says Spring and Summer to me more than the combination of turquoise and bright pink.  I've always loved these two colors!  Check out my Etsy shop to order this necklace and other new Spring and Summer trends!

09.23.16 Friday Favorites

Happy second day of Fall!  ;)  I hope everyone's had a wonderful week!  I've had a busy week, but it's been great!  Here's a list of the things that caught my eye and made me swoon throughout this crazy busy week!

1.  Tandem Creperie and Coffeehouse

I've been wanting to try this place so bad!  I had heard such great things about it!  So, when my aunt came up from Charleston this past week and wanted to eat somewhere in Travelers Rest, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give it a try.  The restaurant itself is simply adorable!  We each got a different type of crepe, so that we could share.  Each one was absolutely delicious!  I ordered the Green Club, my mom ordered the Fiesta, and my aunt ordered the Grazing Goat.   They were all so yummy, that we decided we might should also try a dessert one as well!  You know, just to make sure it was consistent and all.  ;)  We split the Key Lime crepe for dessert.  We all left super stuffed, but it was so worth it!

2.  Sorel Boots

My family went to Grady's Great Outdoors in Anderson this weekend and I spotted these Sorel boots.  I absolutely love them!  They're trendy and unique, but also durable for winter.

3.  RH Foucaults Orb Crystal Chandelier

When I walked into Restoration Hardware in Asheville this week, I fell in love with the huge chandelier that was hanging right over the entrance.  It was one of those moments where you just can't stop staring...!  Absolutely gorgeous!

4. Spartina 449 Earrings

Anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE anything with pineapples. I fell in love with these cute little pineapple stud earrings from Spartina 449 this week.

5.  The North Face Rain Jacket

This olive/army green has been my favorite color the past several months, and I  think it will continue on through the fall.  I just love this color, and I think it looks totally precious on this rain jacket!

6.   Parima Studio Painting

I have been following this artist for a while now, and everything that she creates, I love!  She has a way with blending colors to make it look absolutely perfect.  This week when she shared this image from one of her latest paintings, I fell in love!  The deep colors, mixed with the light colors and the golden greens just flow so wonderfully together!  Love!!

Friday Favorites 08.26.16

Happy Friday yall!  This week we took a much needed mini vacation with some great friends and headed to the coast.  We spent a long weekend in Florida and stopped to sight see on the way down and on the way back.  This week's Friday Favorites is vacation inspired. ;)  Here are some of my favorite things from our Florida trip!

1. The Conch House

The Conch House  in St. Augustine, Florida has been one of my favorite beachy restaurants for over 13 years now.  It's like going to the Caribbean without ever leaving the states.  They have a ton of outdoor seating, but my absolute favorite places to sit are the little tiki huts that they have above the marsh.  They all have a great view of the marina and of the St. Augustine lighthouse.  It's a great place to watch for fish, dolphins, and even alligators.  You definitely have to get a pina colada and the calamari.  They will be the best you've ever had!

2.  The Red Pineapple

If you know me, you know about my obsession with pineapples.  So, of course the name of this store made me curious to see what was inside!  This little boutique in downtown St. Augustine is adorable! (Even if I didn't see any pineapples inside).   They have everything from cute clothes, jewelry, home decor, etc.  It's like Anthropologie and a small town boutique collided and made a perfect little store!  Check it out if you're in the area!

3.  Bracelet @ 29 Olives

This boutique in downtown St. Augustine was super cute!  I loved this "Be Brave & Keep Going" bracelet.

4.  Converse

I bought my first pair of Converse in Jacksonville, Florida over 13 years ago.  So, how fitting was it to get another pair while I was there this time?  I actually still have those black Converse and wear them from time to time, but I wanted a gray pair.  I got these at DSW at the St. Johns Town Center.  I think I've worn them everyday since we got back from our trip.  Love them!

5.  Homewood Suites Jacksonville at the St. Johns Town Center

I'm super picky about hotels and this is one of my favorite places to stay in Florida.  It's an awesome location, the hotel staff is amazingly nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, and did I mention the location is great!?  Target, The Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Panera, Dillards, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Louis Vuitton, JoAnns Fabric, Pottery Barn,  DSW, etc are all within walking distance.  It's a shoppers dream!  Literally, any store or restaurant you could ever think of, are all in one location.  Definitely visit the St. Johns Town Center and stay at the Homewood Suites!

6.  Teri Whitner Art - Ornament

On the way back home, we stopped by Charleston, South Carolina and went to the Market. The beautiful handcrafted pottery by Teri Whitner caught my eye.  We came home with these two ornaments, but all of the bowls and platters were amazing!  Check out her etsy shop!
